Nicolosi & Co. Ups Jeremy Leiner To Partner, Hires Barrett Bischoff

EXCLUSIVE: Jeremy Leiner has been promoted to Partner and Senior Talent Agent at Nicolosi & Co., the talent agency celebrating 22 years in New York, with Barrett Bischoff joining as a Senior Talent Agent following six years as talent agent at KMR.

Representing emerging and established talent in New York and Los Angeles, Leiner joined Nicolosi & Co. in 2010 and has since then played an integral role in shaping careers across film, TV and theater. His roster includes Tony, Grammy, SAG and Emmy award winners and nominees.

“Jeremy has been an integral part of our agency for the past 14 years. Not only has he been by my side during some difficult times (Covid and industry wide strikes), but Jeremy has also played a pivotal role in elevating our agency’s stature and reputation,” said Nicolosi & Co.’s founder, Jeanne Nicolosi. “His well-respected presence in our industry, combined with his impeccable taste and business acumen, make him a truly invaluable asset to our team. Throughout his time with us, Jeremy has consistently demonstrated a passion for our work, a dedication to our clients, and a vision for the future of our agency. His promotion to partner is a testament to his hard work, leadership, and dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism.”

Regarding Bischoff’s hiring, Nicolosi said, “The inclusion of acclaimed talent agent Barrett Bischoff to the team at Nicolosi & Co. solidifies the agency’s position as a premier industry player. Renowned for his client-centric ethos and extensive bi-coastal industry relationships, Bischoff brings a new dimension of excellence to the agency.”

In 2020, Leiner worked with actor Erich Bergen’s company 6W Entertainment, spearheading projects for Chris Colfer, Meena Harris, The Dramatists Guild Foundation, A.R.T./New York and God’s Love We Deliver, among others. Additionally, he served on the planning committee for The New York Civil Liberties Union’s 2019 concert, Broadway Stands Up for Freedom. As a guest lecturer, he’s been invited to speak and hold workshops at The University of Michigan, Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Arizona, Ithaca College, Elon University, Pace University, Manhattan School of Music, AMDA, Boston Conservatory, among other institutions. He’s a graduate of The University of Michigan.

At KMR, Bischoff played a role in shaping the careers of Tony Award-winning and Emmy-nominated actors. He came to the agency after working at industry stalwarts Innovative Artists and CESD, having double majored in Economics and Political Science at the University of Connecticut. Bischoff is expected to bring several significant clients with him to Nicolosi & Co.

Nicolosi’s agency also on Friday announced its promotion of John Rhodes to Junior Talent Agent. Joining as an assistant in 2021, Rhodes got his start in representation through internships at Gersh, Untitled Entertainment, and Brookside Artist Management during his time at NYU. Before joining the world of talent representation, he gained experience in film production and distribution.
