Shivangi Joshi, Kushal Tandon Tv serial Barsatein to return with a second season?

Yes, there have been constant speculations that the Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon starrer TV show Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka is all set to return with its second season. Since the show went off the air in February 2024, ardent fans of the show have been demanding its second season. Lately, there were some speculations too about the show returning with its second season on social media. However, a source of Filmibeat stated that Barsatein 2, as of now, is not on the cards. If ever the channel does decide to bring back its second season, they would have to be mindful of various things, especially the profit aspect as the season 1 was not a profitable venture for the channel. The source further informed that as of now, the show is not returning with its second season. For those unaware, Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka aired on Sony TV from July 10, 2023. The show initially managed to perform well in the TRP charts for the first few months. Viewers connected well with the story and Kushal and Shivangi’s on-screen chemistry. However, after a few months, the show witnessed a significant decline in TRP, which never got better. It failed miserably even to touch the 1.0 TRP, which is considered as the bare minimum in the TV circle, and hence the makers and channel decided that rather than dragging, it’s better to go off-air. The show’s last episode was aired on February 16, 2024
