Maidaan has made around Rs two crore from the paid previews as per Sacnilk Entertainment. As per the trade website, it is expected to make around Rs four crores. It is off to a good start in states like Maharashtra, Bihar, Delhi and Rajasthan. These are the traditionally strong circuits of Ajay Devgn. Many feel that the business will pick up as the movie is getting rave reviews from whosoever has watched it. It seems Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will also get similar numbers.

Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan are clashing this Eid. The first movie is made by Ali Abbas Zafar and stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. It has been shot in five different nations, with real action set pieces. Prithviraj Sukumaran is the villain of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. On the other hand, Maidaan is directed by Amit Ravindranath Sharma.
