Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was still preaching the gospel of opportunity and belief Thursday night,

But following a 12-9 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts in which he threw two interceptions, Wilson didn't hesitate to talk about his game.

It's very simple -- at the end of the day I've got to be better, I've got to play better," Wilson said. "The defense played their butts off tonight,

we have some good key drivers. At the end of the day, throwing two blocks is impossible. It can't happen. I left the team tonight."

Wilson threw his second interception with just over two minutes to play in regulation when the Broncos had a chance to put the game away.

And his error on a four-inch throw from the Colts 6-yard line in overtime, when he didn't see an open KJ Hamler and tried to pass the ball to Courtland Sutton instead, was the last play of the game. .

The Broncos, Wilson and coach Nathaniel Hackett included, opted to go for the win with just over two minutes left in overtime instead of a first down and a chance to throw for a potential game-winning touchdown.

We have a great playlist.... Guy played a good game, "Wilson said. "I'm ready to move if I need to. ... We went.

We don't want to finish the tie, we want to win the game. ... I'll find a way to play, no matter what.

Wilson, who finished 21-of-39 passing for 274 yards with no touchdowns and the two interceptions, was out of sorts for much of the night.

He was just 9-of-17 passing for 69 yards in the first half.

The Broncos' streak continued as they went scoreless and scored just two touchdowns in their combined three home games.

They came into last night's game scoring in the red zone and will not advance in the standings after Thursday.

He added: "There is a lot of time left, a lot of opportunities. [There are] a lot of good things, but bad things are bad. We should win this game. It's in my heart."

Wilson briefly angered Hamler after the game, and most of Wilson's teammates stopped talking to Wilson as he sat outside his locker, fully clothed, more than an hour after the end.

I have to finish, kill," Hamler said of the offensive line. "We have to do well. The defense [is] struggling, and we need to support them well.

I did everything I could. I kicked my ass. The offense fought like crazy."

Wilson was tested for concussion in the second half on Thursday but was cleared to return by medical staff.

I answered all of their questions and everything," he said. Wilson had also been listed on the Broncos' injury report in the days leading up to the game with a right shoulder injury.

"He's having these bad plays," Wilson said. "It's ours. It's all about us as players. It starts with me. Not about Coach Hackett, not about anyone else. "
